Calling all TROY Trojans of Bay and Surrounding Counties:
Preparations are being made to establish a TROY Alumni Chapter to serve Bay County and all other counties in the nearby vicinity. A group of interested individuals is exploring the interest level of local Troy University graduates to charter a chapter of Alumni and Friends of the University.
Alumni associations play a vital role in the success and growth of the schools they support by promoting continued alumni interest, recruiting outstanding local students, and providing scholarship opportunities. A chapter in Bay and surrounding Counties would seek to support university events and draw from the many fine high schools in this county to provide scholarship assistance.
Bay County is home to numerous TROY alumni and a new local chapter will provide an excellent opportunity for fellowship and community involvement. Initially, the group plans to gather for the occasional “watch party” to view games together and one or two meetings per year to conduct chapter business. There will be a nominal membership fee, but there are local and national benefits for the members.
